Could you please circulate the announcement of the event described below to your official soroptimist publications and websites?
It is with pleasure that we would like to inform you that the 9th European Meeting and Friendship Days of Soroptimism that are scheduled to take place inCyprus, from 28th September – 2nd October 2012.
SIE President Kathy Kaff would be among the distinguished speakers at the Conference which is dedicated to the European Year 2012 for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations, on Saturday, September 29. The key objectives of the speakers and round table discussion will be to:
Raise awareness of the value of active ageing and solidarity between generations; Stimulate a debate and develop mutual learning betweenMemberStatesand stakeholders at all levels, including civil society organizations; Encourage and support policymakers and stakeholders to promote active ageing and solidarity between generations.
Fun excursions are also being organized.
